We hold weekly case study sessions looking at a wide range of businesses, industries and problems. Previous cases have included developing a strategy for a car manufacturer and reducing a banks IT costs.
This gives students the opportunity to develop critical thinking, problem solving, data analysis, presentation skills and gain an insight into real-world challenges that companies face.
Industry Talks
We regularly invite industry experts from consultancy firms to deliver talks and workshops to our members. This is a great opportunity to discover what being a consultant is all about and ask questions regarding the industry.
Previous talks have been delivered by professionals at the likes of EY, Deloitte, Accenture and many more! It's also a great opportunity for students to build their network in the industry.
Consultancy Week
During reading week we host a longer case study week. Students work in teams with the help and guidance of professional consultants to work on a much larger case.
This gives students the opportunity to analysis the data given to them for longer and create more complex solutions. At the end of the week, groups present to a panel of experts to receive feedback for their next case.
